The work bench consists of a cryogenic working area, that may be equipped with additionally two (WB220) or three (WB230) freezers. The work bench WB220/230 is used for defined freezing of biological material such as stem cells, blood components, tissue, semen, occytes, samples for DNA/RNA analysis, etc. The compliance of an uninterrupted cooling chain of the samples is monitored and recorded during this process.
The Integrated freezer unit, containing of up to three independently operating freezers, allows reproducible freezing processes. The freezing process can be done an the basis of freely programmable freezing curves. lt is possible to start the individual freezers at any time without having to wait for the end of the process of the neighboring freezer. A barcode supported sample management system for sample tracking is available for the user. The work bench can be delivered also without freezer but with a big, cryogenic working area (WB200).
