The Market Forge Sterilmatic Sterilizer STME Autoclave is a full-size autoclave with a spacious chamber (16 inches diameter and 26 inches deep) made of coated aluminum. It has a drain speed control with fast (one minute for instruments and glassware) and slow (10 minutes for liquids) settings, as well as a 0 to 60 minute timer. While the STME autoclave is a constant temperature model, the Market Forge STME-L autoclave, a variable temperature model, allows settings from 110 to 121 degrees C (230 to 250 degrees F) and heats quickly to reach sterilization temperature within 8 to 10 minutes from cold start and 3-7 minutes of continuous operation. The set temperature is automatically maintained by releasing pressure and turning off power at the end of the cycle. For easy and efficient operation of the Market Forge Sterilmatic STME and STME-L autoclaves, all controls are located on the front of the unit. The doors lock automatically and cannot be opened until the pressure is released. Additional features of the Market Forge Sterilmatic system include a 0-30 lb steam gauge, low water shutoff, thermostatic steam trap and flat perforated steam shield
