Method of operation The material to be ground is crushed by pressure and shearing between two counteracting, coarsely toothed grinding discs. It then automatically falls through the preset grinding gap into the receiving drawer. The desired final fineness can be determined in a reliably reproducible manner by simply digitally setting the gap width. And it's that easy: Lock the grinding chamber at the push of a button, set the grinding gap and grinding time reproducibly and to the second using the plus/minus buttons on the display, fill the samples into the funnel and start grinding. The PULVERISETTE 13 premium line disc mill can be combined with the PULVERISETTE 1 premium line jaw crusher for particularly fast and continuous premium pre- and fine comminution of larger sample quantities. You can choose from 4 different materials. Normally, both grinding discs are chosen from the same material, which in any case must be harder than the sample to be ground. The disk mill PULVERISETTE 13 premium line is also available with a complete polymer inner coating of the grinding chamber for metal-free grinding. The polymer inner coating can be ordered separately under item number 13.3090.16.
