The ASE 200 Accelerated Solvent Extractor is an automated system for extracting organic compounds from a variety of solid and semi-solid samples. The ASE 200 accelerates the traditional extraction process by using solvents at elevated temperatures. Pressure is applied to the sample extraction cell to maintain the heated solvent in a liquid state during extraction. After heating, the extract from the sampling cell is rinsed into a standard collection vessel and is ready for analysis.
