BDProbeTec™ ET

The BD ProbeTec™ ET System is the first real-time DNA amplification assay for the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (GC) in clinical specimens.
Based on proprietary BD technology, Strand Displacement Amplification (SDA) and real-time homogeneous detection, the system design combines short time-to-results, minimal labor, high throughput and ease-of-use to make the BD ProbeTec ET System the choice for laboratories throughout the world.

The BDProbeTec ET system has redefined the use of amplified probes in molecular biology. Using BD proprietary amplification technology, Strand Displacement Amplification (SDA), the system utilizes this isothermal amplification technology based on restriction enzyme and a polymerase.

·          Transfer 150 µL sample to priming wells
