Dispatch time
The stated dispatch times are the shortest possible ones for each article. The effective dispatch times can vary. The effective dispatch times will be stated in the order confirmation.
As a matter of principle, we are offering collective deliveries. The shipping time is calculated based on the position with the longest lead time. A partial delivery is possible on explicit request.

Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.
The stated transport and packing charges apply to the most favorable route if transport and are to be understood as subject to verification due to unexpected cost increases. By reason of unpredictable events, cargo rates and delivery times can change at any time and therefore have to be adapted to the recent situation. Import formalities and possible customs charges will be borne by the purchaser. Incoterm coding according to Incoterms 2010: For persons who collect the devices themselves: EXW, for dipatch by sea: CFR, by air freight: CPT, other shipments: DAP. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.
Terms of payment
We do not accept payment by letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

INTRODUCTION
It is recommended that the user of the PHC-1 should read this booklet thoroughly before attempting to operate the unit.
The aluminium block will accept up to 54 x 0.5m1 capped micro centrifuge tubes which can be rapidly heated and cooled in a set programme between 0°C and 99°C. The temperature setting range of the unit is 0 to 99°C, but operation is within the range 5°C above the temperature of the cooling water to 99°C.
The Techne Heat/Cool Dri-Block® provides a repeatable cycle of up to three independent temperatures and dwell times, user programmed via the integral keyboard and LCD display panel. Up to 63 separate programmes can be stored in the non volatile memory with up to 99 repetitive cycles per programme.
The water cooling System comprises of a primary flow and a secondary flow. The primary flow is used to cool the System rapidly, the secondary flow, being much less, is to increase the losses when operating near to, or below, ambient temperature (assuming the cooling water is well below ambient). All cooling flow is turned off during any heating mode, and the primary flow is only used when changing from a higher to a lower temperature from segment 1 to segment 2, or segment 2 to segment 3. It is therefore important to remember that in any programme, segment 1 should be the highest temperature.
The unit may operate at steady temperatures in the range 30 to 90°C without cooling water, but for cycling programmes, the water is necessary to achieve the high cool down rate. When switched to "NORMAL" operation, the unit only allows the cooling water to flow when the prior set temperature is higher than the new set temperature. When the block temperature is within approximately 2°C of the new set temperature, the primary cooling watet is shut off, control being maintained against the secondary flow if required temperature is less than 40°C.
An extra Programme step is available if required, which has a single segment (denoted by all segment LEDs being illuminated) having a programmable temperature and hold time. This segment is only activated once at the completion of the programmable cycles. If this is not required, enter 0 into the fourth segment time.
An additional feature is incorporated (see Programming) which allows incremental timing in Segment 3.
An Analogue output of temperature (20mv/°C) is accessible by connection to the DIN locket an the rear panel. See Connection Diagram.
