Features
This system controller is designed to be connected to the various units in the Shimadzu LC-10A/10Avp High Performance Liquid Chromatography series, and control their functions.
This controller centralizes control of a wide variety of system configurations, and can also permit fully automated operation.
By means of specially designed fiber optic link Interfaces, the controller can be connected to the pump, column oven, detector, auto injector and fraction collector in the LC-1 OA/1 OAvp series.
Use of a sub-controller will also permit the controller to be connected to and control options such as special valves and a helium degasser.
An fiber optic link interface for connection to a Chromatopac is supplied. This interface permits operation in tandem with a Chromatopac, or system control by BASIC programs written an the Chromatopac.
An optional RS-232 Gable can be used to connect the controller to a PC, for PC control. (When the controller is under PC control, the fiber optic link interface cannot be used.)
The controller's LCD screen permits setting analysis conditions for the connected devices, provides displays relating to control operation, and displays the status of each device for monitoring puposes during analysis.
Additionally, the screen's graphic functions can provide graphic displays of scan data from the detector, chromatograms from the fraction collector, and other data that facilitate parameters settings.
