Technical data summary

MEMMERT appliances are electrically heated and thermostatically controlled (not explosion-proof "Important for Loading"). Series U, S and B have natural air circulation whilst series UL, SL and BL have fan assisted circulation. The door is opened by pulling the door knob.

Temperature ranges

From 5°C above ambient (minimum operating temperature series S - SL +50°C) to nominal temperature = maximum temperature (see rating plate).

The maximum ambient temperature at the installation location should not exceed 35°C.

Installation options

(except model 80)

Place unit an a flat working surface. If using a stand (accessory for models 30 - 60) or if having mode) 80, then ensure that the floor is level. Ensure at least 80 mm clearance between back of oven and wall.

Stand accessory

When using the stand accessory it is first necessary to remove the

four feet from the cabinet.

Wall mounting

(except model 80)

Integral rear mounted keyhole slots are provided an models up to U 30/B 30/S 30 whilst a metal mounting bracket is available for models UL/SL/BL30 as well as for all units up to model 60. Dimen­sions offixing screws fiepend an the weight of the charge and the quality of the wall. As the distance between the rear of the oven and the wall is limited to 18 mm in the rase of the keyhole slots, and to 40 mm in the case of the mounting bracket, it is essential that the wall area surrounding the ventilation tube is of an incombustible material. Where necessary a heat resistant panel should be used.

Stacking device

(except model 80)

Where the requirement is for two ovens of the same size to be placed one an top of the other, the oven with the least working temperature should be placed at the bottom. Remove the front feet of the top oven and replace them with the ones supplied with the stacking device (only if the ovens are not originally supplied with the stacking device). Remove the top of the bottom oven and turning it upside down place the drilling jig into the back corner. Mark out the hole position and drill a 4.2 mm diameter hole. With the screws provided fix the centering cylinders into position and re-fix top cover.
