Status, terms of delivery and payment

Verification of devices

The second-hand devices are verified by Labexchange Service GmbH before delivery. You are receiving only fully functional devices.

Dispatch time

The stated dispatch times are the shortest possible ones for each article. The effective dispatch times can vary. The effective dispatch times will be stated in the order confirmation.

As a matter of principle, we are offering collective deliveries. The shipping time is calculated based on the position with the longest lead time. A partial delivery is possible on explicit request.

Parcel services, forwarding agencies, self-pickup, delivery by Labexchange fleet.

Delivery information

Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.

For deliveries to countries outside the EU, an additional fee of 70,00€ for export is charged. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.

Terms of payment

We do not accept payment by credit card, letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

PILZ®-Heating Mantles Series G/KM

Application

The Pilz® heating mantle range consists of several types of heating Systems which have been designed for both industrial and laboratory use. The range is glass-fibre insulated, and conforms to VDE 0721 sections 1 and 2E.

Pilz® heating mantles adjust to fit flask size and shape exactly, thereby guaranteeing uniform hegt transfer. They have no adverse effect on laboratory glassware.

The temperature reached muck depends upon the working conditions of each specific application. Heat conductivity and, where applicable, its throughput to the heated substance, determine the final temperature.

Operation

Before the heating mantle is put into use, the compatibility of the live voltage should be checked against that stated on the mantle itself. To ensure a Safe and stable assembly, only suited accessories such as tripods, Support hoops, clamps and automatic stirrers should be used.

To protect both the flask and its contents from any undue excess in temperature, the energy Input may be adjusted by means of switching one or a series of circuits, until the requisite voltage and wattage is achieved.

If the substance level in the flask is lowering, the circuits above this level will have to be switched Off. In the case

of sensitive substances, or processes which require a cleraly defined temperature, the use of control gear is strongly recommended.
