Beschreibung
Die BOC Edwards RV-Drehschieberpumpe ist in Abbildung 1 dargestellt. Die in der nachfolgenden Beschreibung in Klammern stehenden Positions-Nr. beziehen sich auf die Abbildung 1. Die BOC Edwards RV-Drehschieberpumpen sind zweistufige, ölgedichtete Drehschieber- Vakuumpumpen. Die Pumpe besitzt einen KF25-Ansaugstutzen (4) und -Auspuffstutzen (7), eine Gasballast- Steuerung (5) und einen Betriebsart-Wahlschalter (11). Ein Einlaßventil verschließt den Einlaß, wenn die Pumpe nicht arbeitet, und verhindert das Rückströmen von Luft und Öl in das Vakuumsystem.
Die Pumpen RV3 und RV5 besitzen einen ausziehbaren Handgriff (3). Die Pumpen RV8 und RV12 sind mit einer Hebeöse für Hebeeinrichtungen ausgerüstet.
Eine Ölpumpe leitet unter Druck stehendes Öl zum Vakuumpumpenmechanismus der RV-Pumpe. Sie können den Füllstand und Zustand des Öls im Ölbehälter durch ein Schauglas überprüfen (8). Am Ölbehälter sind zwei Öleinfüllschrauben (6) und eine Ölablaßschraube (9) angebracht.
Ein einphasiger Elektromotor treibt den Pumpenmechanismus über eine flexible Motorkupplung direkt an. Der Motor ist vollständig gekapselt und wird von einem Ventilator gekühlt, der die Kühlluft auf die Kühlrippen des Motors leitet. Die Pumpen werden durch einen zusätzlichen, an der Motorkupplung angebrachten Ventilator gekühlt.
Die einphasigen Motoren sind mit einem Ein/Aus-Schalter (12) und einer thermischen Überlastsicherung geschützt. Wenn der Motor zu heiß wird, schaltet diese Sicherung die Pumpe aus. Die thermische Überlastsicherung verfügt über eine automatische Rückstellung. Wenn der Motor sich abgekühlt hat, wird die Sicherung zurückgesetzt und der Motor wieder eingeschaltet. Um dies zu verhindern, kann die Pumpe über eine Steuereinrichtung angeschlossen werden (siehe Abschnitt 3.6.2). In diesem Fall muß die Pumpe von Hand zurückgesetzt werden.
Die Pumpe wird auf einer Grundplatte mit Gummifüßen (10) befestigt. Siehe Abschnitt 7 zur Auswahl geeigneter Schwingungsdämpfer und anderer Zubehörteile.
