Bioruptor Pico di Diagenode utilizza un metodo di sonicazione delicato per mantenere l'integrità del DNA e/o dei complessi biologici, tra cui cromatina, legami proteina-proteina, complessi proteina-DNA e altri sistemi di analisi biochimiche e biologiche. Il sistema Bioruptor Pico Sonication utilizza un bagno di sonicazione per generare onde di sonicazione indirette che emanano da un elemento ad ultrasuoni sotto il serbatoio dell'acqua.
