Das Biometra Standard Power Pack P25 kann mit diversen Elektrophoresegeräten benutzt werden und findet seinen Einsatz bei SDS-PAGE ebenso wie bei Agarose -Gelelektro- phoresen , Blotting oder Elektroelution von Proteinen oder DNA/RNA aus Gelen.
Das Standard Power Pack P25 wurde für den Einsatz in Verbindung mit all denjenigen Elektrophorese Systemen konzipiert, welche im Bereich unter 400 Volt und 500 mA (Elektrophorese) oder 200 Volt und 1000 mA ( Blotting ) Verwendung finden. Vier parallel geschaltete Ausgänge liefern 0 bis 400 Volt und bis zu 1000 mA bei wahlweise konstanter Einstellung von Milliampere oder Volt in 1 mA bzw. 1 V Schritten. Die maximale Leistung beträgt 200 Watt. Ein digitales LCD-Display zeigt wahlweise die Stromstärke oder die Spannung an.
