Delivery information
Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.
The stated transport and packing charges apply to the most favorable route if transport and are to be understood as subject to verification due to unexpected cost increases. By reason of unpredictable events, cargo rates and delivery times can change at any time and therefore have to be adapted to the recent situation. Import formalities and possible customs charges will be borne by the purchaser. Incoterm coding according to Incoterms 2010: For persons who collect the devices themselves: EXW, for dipatch by sea: CFR, by air freight: CPT, other shipments: DAP. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.
Terms of payment
We do not accept payment by letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

The FACS Vantage TM , BDIS's new cell sorter, was designed for ease of operation and provides ample room in which to work. With its stream-viewing video camera and monitor, an eight-trace oscilloscope, a wide selection of lasers, an optional third laser, FACS Vantage uses the latest technology in flow cytometry.
You can use FACS Vantage for research applications in:
Molecular Genetics to study
isolated chromosomes for developing chromosome-specific libraries
normal gene expression
abnormalities leading to disease
Cell Cycle Analysis to
quantify the proliferative characteristics of cells and cell populations
gain knowledge about the fraction of cells at risk from cell-cyclespecific cytotoxic agents, enabling maximal tumor killing and minimal normal cell death
quantify phase fractions, phase durations, doubling times, labeling index, and growth fractions by using modeln or bromodeoxyuridine as a marker for cellcycle traverse studies
employ the monoclonal antibody Ki-67, a nuclear antigen that is found in proliferating cells, but not in resting cells
perform leukemia phenotyping, monitor cancer remission, and analyze rare events in cancer studies
Intracellular Calcium Measurement to
measure intracellular ionized calcium concentration to learn about a cellular functions
correlate calcium concentration with other parameters, such as cell-surface antigen expression
sort, based an calcium concentration
Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) to
label, locate, and quantify specific nucleic acid sequences in cells or chromosomes, alter sorting specific cells an FACS Vantage
enhance FISH techniques by adding the FACS Vantage spatial resolution, convenience, speed, and sensitivity
Large Particle Analysis and Sorting (using the available MacroSORT Option) to
characterize and sort islets of Langerhans for diabetes research including transplantation studies and encapsulation
measure nuclear genome sizes in higher plants by producing a suspension of cells without walls (protoplasts) and by measuring the DNA content
evaluate DNA content by studying megakaryocytes
Microbiology to
analyze changes in cellular functions brought about by intracellular organisms such as viruses, bacteria, and protozoa
study cell-cycle kinetics and regulatory mechanisms governing cell growth and replication
monitor (bacteria and other) microorganisms used in industrial processes or occurring as contaminants in materials ranging from drinking water to crude oil.

1 All performance specifications are measured at the powers and wavelengths listed. Powers are listed in milliwatts.
2 Multiline UV is the primary output used for light regulation. At the specified UV power, secondary wavelength output will be much higher than specified values.
3 The output also contains other wavelengths whose power levels are unspecified
4 Unpolarized.
5 Typical values. Specific values will vary for individual wavelengths and from model to model.
6 Beam diameter is measured at the output coupler.
7 Beam waist is measured from the output end of the laser head enclosure.
8 Maximum peak variation over any 30-minute period after a 30-minute warm-up.
9 Measured with a 10 Hz to 2 MHz photodiode driving a resistive Ioad.
10 Bioluminator35Models at 568.2 nm and 647.1 nm display <_ 3% rms.
11 In multiple wavelength outputs, the M 2 specification applies separately to each wavelength.
