FEATURES

The Waters Model 501 Solvent Delivery System is a high performance pump designed specifically for liquid chromatography applications. You may set flow rates from 0.1 to 9.9 ml/min in increments of 0.1 ml/min. The Model 501 automatically monitors compressibility compensation values to maintain accuracy at high pressures. The high pressure limit of the Model 501 may be adjusted from 0-6000 psig.

A connector plug an the rear of the pump enables you to attach the Model 501 to a Waters Model 720 System Controller, Model 721 Programmahle System Controller, Waters 840 Data and chromatography Control Station (referred to as the Waters 840), or Model 680 Automated Gradient Controller (referred to as the Model 680).

Options

Various optional components are available to enhance the cabapbility of your Model 501 pump.

Reference Valve

The optional reference valve provides a convenient means of flushing the Model 501 or the reference cell of a refractive index detector.

High Sensitivity Filter

The high sensitivity filter smooths our flow noise when a flow sensitive detector is used at operating pressures below 1000 psig (70 bars). Although the high sensitivity filter is not required at system pressures above 1000 psig, it may be left in the system when operating at pressures up to 2000 psig (140 bars).
