Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.

Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.

The Waters 990+ Photodiode Array Detector is an ultraviolet/visible (UV/VIS) detector and advanced data system for use in high performance liquid chromatography.
The photodiode array simultaneously measures absorbance values from 190 to 800 nanometers (nm). Because spectral information is gathered simultaneously at various wavelengths, detection of all UV absorbable components in a complex mixture is possible.
Data is immediately available and may be displayed during analysis. The identity of each peak and the impurity of any peak can be determined easily.
The library search feature allows you to develop a library of spectra of known components, then overlay and compare newly acquired spectra of unknowns.
Peptide researchers can assess peak purity and locate peaks with side chain modifications, aromatic residues, or other unusual characteristics. Molecular biologists can readily identify DNA peaks based on their UV spectra collected during separation. Pharmaceutical researchers can easily find structurally similar metabolites.
The system is contained in three separate parts.
The optics unit houses the sample cell, lamps and related optical components, the photodiode array and associated electronics.
The NEC APC-IV PowerMate 2 based computercontrols the system and processes, stores and displays data.
The printer/plotter provides high speed reproduction of displayed data.
