The Varian Cary 300 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer with Cary Dual Cell Peltier accessories is used worldwide for routine analysis and research. The Cary 300 is controlled by the new Cary WinUV software. This Windows-based software features a modular design that makes it easy to use. The device comes with liquid sample holders and can of course be equipped with a wide range of accessories to provide additional functionality. Instead of each accessory having its own electronics, the accessory controller provides the interface between the Cary software and the accessory. If your custom accessories fit into the Cary device, you can use the accessory controller to control them. Even external accessories such as titrators, lasers and pH meters can be controlled. The Peltier cell holder controls the sample temperature for a single sample and reference when performing UV-Vis measurements. The temperature of each cell holder can be controlled independently or used at a single temperature with Cary's UV-Vis and UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometers. The Peltier cell holder is automatically controlled by the UV-Vis spectrophotometer software and can be used together with the Cary temperature probe to monitor the sample temperature. The cell holder is mounted on the standard cell holder base supplied with the spectrophotometer.
