Verification of devices
The second-hand devices are verified by Labexchange Service GmbH before delivery. You are receiving only fully functional devices.
Dispatch time
The stated dispatch times are the shortest possible ones for each article. The effective dispatch times can vary. The effective dispatch times will be stated in the order confirmation.
As a matter of principle, we are offering collective deliveries. The shipping time is calculated based on the position with the longest lead time. A partial delivery is possible on explicit request.
Shipping methods
Parcel services, forwarding agencies, self-pickup, delivery by Labexchange fleet.
Delivery information
Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.
For deliveries to countries outside the EU, an additional fee of 70,00€ for export is charged. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.
Terms of payment
We do not accept payment by credit card, letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

Systec laboratory autoclaves series ELV are used wherever reproducible and safe sterilization processes and successful results are required in research institutes, microbiological and quality control laboratories and in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Sterilization applications
- Liquids such as nutrient media and buffer solutions
- Solid items such as pipettes, tubes, filters, glassware and plastic articles
- Waste sterilization
The right system for every type of sterilization
Fully automatic, microprocessor-controlled.
The various applications can be carried out using the autoclaves standard programmes. Additional options ensure even more efficient work, with control of results and optimal, safe and reproducible sterilization processes.
Built-in technical progress
- Controlled steam release after sterilization to avoid overboiling of the liquid products
- Programmable start time
- Warming function to a presetable temperature of 25 80°C after sterilization
- Autofill for demineralised water
- Special cleaning programme
- Waste program with pulsed heat up for waste sterilization in waste bags to optimize air removal out of waste bags
Process control
Via state-of-the-art microprocessor technology

Sterilization parameters
Temperature and time are freely selectable; temperature can be set between 60 and 138°C. Sterilizing time can be set from 1 99 minutes. Preselected parameters remain programmed until altered.
Sterilization initiation
A PT 100 temperature sensor in a reference vessel guarantees that the set sterilization temperature is actually attained before sterilization starts.
RS 232 Interface
Demineralised water level regulation
Feed water for steam generation is automatically regulated.
Exhaust steam condensation
Exhaust steam is cooled down before leaving the autoclave. No unnecessary steam is exhausted. Drainage equipment protected from contact with steam.
Heat-resistant plastic covering on lid
Prevents contact with hot parts and protects from burning.
Pressure-dependent door lock
Prevents the door from being opened whilst under pressure.
Temperature-dependent door lock
In conjunction with temperature measurement in a reference vessel, the system prevents the door from being opened until the temperature is below a specified level. Hence preventing delayed boiling (as specified by technical regulations for pressure vessels, complies with British-and German Standards)
Door lock safety switch
Prevents the sterilization programme from being started if the door is not properly closed.
Water level safety device
Prevents the autoclave from being heated up if insufficient water is available for steam generation.
Excess temperature safety device
Switches off the heating elements if too high a temperature is attained.
Overpressure valve
Release of too high pressure.
Short batch times with intelligent technology
The actual sterilization time of e.g. 15 to 20 minutes at 121°C is only a fraction of the total time involved in the sterilization process.
Especially when sterilizing liquids, the heating and cooling phases are much longer.
State-of-the-art technology makes it possible to reduce the entire batch time considerably several hours can be saved. In addition, this also means that media need not be exposed unduly long to high temperatures.
In conventional autoclaves, the prescribed temperature may well be reached in the vessel, but the liquids to be sterilized may only be at e.g. 100°C; the overall time required to attain equilibrium between vessel and liquid is hence much longer.
Up to 50 % less heating time in all autoclaves!
This system is different! Due to the dual temperature and pressure control, the chamber pressure and hence temperature is increased in the heating phase. Temperature equilibrium is thus attained much more quickly and the overall sterilization time is shorter.
Up to 90 % less cooling time optional!
The specially developed rapid cooling system with or without support pressure enables cooling time to be reduced by up to 90 %. This system can also be fitted retrospectively.
