Delivery information
Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.
The stated transport and packing charges apply to the most favorable route if transport and are to be understood as subject to verification due to unexpected cost increases. By reason of unpredictable events, cargo rates and delivery times can change at any time and therefore have to be adapted to the recent situation. Import formalities and possible customs charges will be borne by the purchaser. Incoterm coding according to Incoterms 2010: For persons who collect the devices themselves: EXW, for dipatch by sea: CFR, by air freight: CPT, other shipments: DAP. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.
Terms of payment
We do not accept payment by letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

FEATURES
Excellent ease of operation
The UV-160A has only 24 single-function keys. High-level data processing is easily carried out through dialog with the video display software.
High-speed scanning-up to 3600nm/min.
lt takes only two seconds to scan a 100nm spectral range. The entire 1100 ~ 200nm range may be scanned in 25 sec. including the automatic lamp changeover. The monochromator will slew at 60nm/sec. for single wavelength selection.
Spectral bandwidth of 2nm
Shimadzu's renowned blazed holographic grating provides a sharp 2nm bandpass over the entire wavelength range.
Reliable measurement of micro samples
The optional super micro cell holder is convenient for measurement of precious samples such as isolated proteins or nucleic acids. Sample volumes as small as 50µl may be measured reliably.
A large variety of quantitative functions
The standard programs include: (1) quantitation by the least squares calibration method or multilinear method using a single wavelength, two or three additional background wavelengths, or derivative values, (2) multicomponent analysis, and (3) kinetic activity assay.
Highest spectral data processing capability in its class
Graphic expansion and compression, peak picking, differentiation, smoothing, memory storage, arithmetic calculation between files, and much more are available for spectral scan data.
Color X-Y plotter available
The addition of an optional plotter allows publishable-quality output of graphic and digital data.
Amber video display
The amber video display allows easy user interaction and feedback and minimizes eye fatigue.
