Operation is easy thanks to a large LCD display, fully digital throttle control and an auto-diagnostic function inherited from the GC-2010 - "The most advanced and user-friendly interface". It offers flexibility for any analysis with different column types, be it packed or capillary columns, giving you the freedom to choose the best technique for your measurements. Fully integrated multi-valve systems are simplified for optimal performance in SystemGC customized GC products. The column oven has a temperature range of (ambient temperature + 10 °C) to 400 °C (with liquid CO2 gas*: -50 °C to 400 °C), dimensions of 250 (W) × 360 (H) × 175 (D ) mm and an oven volume of 15.8 L. The temperature accuracy is the setpoint temperature (K) ± 1% (calibration in 0.01 °C increments). The maximum temperature deviation is 2°C (over a diameter of 200mm, 30mm from the back). The temperature variation coefficient is 0.01 °C/°C. Up to 20 temperature program steps are possible (including cooling programs). The heating rate can be adjusted between -250°C and 250°C/min, with a maximum total time of 9999.99 minutes for all steps. The linear heating rate ranges from 30 °C/min to 150 °C, from 20 °C/min to 250 °C, from 10 °C/min to 380 °C, and from 7 °C/min to 400 °C (at an ambient temperature of 25 °C). The cooling rate is a maximum of 6 minutes from 300 °C to 50 °C (at an ambient temperature of 25 °C). Capillary columns: 2 and packed columns for GC14B: 4 (glass: 2) are accepted. The sample unit has a temperature range of up to 400°C, heating settings in 1°C increments and up to 3 units can be installed at the same time. There are different types of sample injection units such as dual pack, single pack, split/splitless and direct. The carrier gas flow controller has a setting range of 0 to 100 ml/min and up to 7 programmable steps. Detectors have a temperature range up to 400°C (FID, TCD) and up to 4 units can be installed at the same time, depending on the detector type. The Flame Ionization Detector (FID) has a dual flow differential system, a temperature range of up to 400°C and a minimum detection limit of 3 pgC/s (dodecane). The thermal conductivity detector (TCD) also has a dual flow differential system and a temperature range up to 400°C. The Flame Photometric Detector (FPD) has a maximum temperature range of 350°C and various detection limits for phosphorus and sulfur.
