The Shimadzu gas chromatograph system combines high performance and expandability at a higher level. It offers improved design and innovative technology for all of our injectors, detectors and flow controllers that are either equivalent to or exceed our high-end GC-2010 technology leader. Ease of use is enabled by a large LCD and digital throttle control as well as automatic diagnostic functions inherited from the GC-2010 - the most advanced and easy to use user interface. Flexibility is provided by the possibility of using all column types for all analyses. Both packed and capillary columns are available to choose the best technique for your measurements. Fully integrated multi-valve systems are simplified for optimal performance on SystemGC-custom GC products. The column oven offers a temperature range of (ambient + 10°C) to 400°C (with liquid CO2 gas*: -50°C to 400°C) in compact dimensions of 250 (W) × 360 (H) × 175 ( T) mm, with an oven capacity of 15.8 L. The temperature accuracy is fixed to the set value (K) ± 1% (calibration in 0.01°C increments). There is a maximum temperature deviation of 2°C and a temperature variation coefficient of 0.01°C/°C. Up to 20 temperature programming steps are possible, including a cooling program and a programmed setting range rate of -250°C to 250°C/min, with the total time of all steps being a maximum of 9999.99 minutes. The linear heating rate, cooling rate and column types adopted are specifically defined, as are the sample injection device, carrier gas flow controller and various detectors that have individual temperature ranges, minimum detected quantities and dynamic ranges.
