FEATURES

1)   High performance column oven: The GC-14A Series employs a unique temperature control circuit that ensures accurate oven temperatures in spite of fluctuations in ambient temperature. Temperature is distri­buted in the oven with an exceptional uniformity. These two features deliver superior reproducibility of retention times - ideal for capillary GC.

2)   Flexible sample injectors: Four sample injectors (of the Same or different types) can be installed together, for selective use. All the injectors are of a cartridge type - each can be replaced in a matter of seconds.

     The injectors are independently temperature-controlled - at any desired temperature, independent of the column oven and the detector ovens.

3)   Laboratory automation oriented design: The GC-14A Series can be connected to a CHROMATOPAC dataprocessor via a current loop interface or to a PC via an RS-232C interface. Connection to a C-R5A CHROMATOPAC permits instant change of GC and data processing parameters through the use of an IC card.

4)   Five-step multilinear temperature programming.

5)   Simplified building of multiple GC system.

     A multidimensional GC system can be built by connecting several GC-14As via temperature-controlled connections.

     Several GC-14As can also be connected to a GC-16A as satellite GCs, to operate under the control of the GC-16A.

6)   Ten battery backup protected files to store GC parameters.

2. Sample Injection Unit

Method:                                    Split/splitless, glass insert for single column, glass insert for dual             columns, cool on-column, moving needle, and RATV (Rapidly           Ascending Temperature Vaporizer).
