Dispatch time

As a matter of principle, we are offering collective deliveries. The shipping time is calculated based on the position with the longest lead time. A partial delivery is possible on explicit request.

Delivery information
Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.
The stated transport and packing charges apply to the most favorable route if transport and are to be understood as subject to verification due to unexpected cost increases. By reason of unpredictable events, cargo rates and delivery times can change at any time and therefore have to be adapted to the recent situation. Import formalities and possible customs charges will be borne by the purchaser. Incoterm coding according to Incoterms 2010: For persons who collect the devices themselves: EXW, for dipatch by sea: CFR, by air freight: CPT, other shipments: DAP. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.
Terms of payment
We do not accept payment by letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

The Nicoles 5DXC is a powerful infrared spectrometer that is easy to install and simple to use. This is possible because of the multilevel Software system that allows you to gradually upgrade features of the system as your needs and experience increase.
The 5DXC spectrometer consists of the following components which must be cabled together before the spectrometer is operational.
- Nicolet 640 processor unit
- Nicolet high performance color display monitor
- Keyboard
- Digital plotter
- 5DXC optical bench
Components description
5 series optical bench.
The optical bench functions are controlled and implemented by simple Software commands. This allows fast, convenient switching of source aperture, Interferometer scan speed, spectral resolution and beam path geometry. The main Sample compartment features optional removable base plates for fast and accurate accessory interchange.
Nicoles 600 series processor.
This high-performance minicomputer provides extensive Signal processing, speed and computation power. The Standard processor comes with 640K bytes of RAM memory.
Two micro floppy disk drives
Two disk drives are provided an the processor front panel. These drives use 3 1 /2" micro floppies with storage capacities of approximately 600 Kbytes.
A 13 Inch color display monitor.
The display is a high resolution color monitor that can simultaneously display as many spectra as desired. To prevent data distortion when using the optional MCT detector, it is recommended that the display monitor be at least 12 Inches from the detector.
Keyboard
The keyboard has a separate Cursor movement pad and linear function keys. (The Status of the X and Y RESET and format function keys, which are located across the top of the keyboard, is indicated in the upper right Corner of the display.)
A 2-pen Hewlett Packard digital plotter.
This plotter provides accurate plotting and overlay capablity in a single sheet flatbed plotter.

The plotter provides accurate plotting and versatile hard copy formatting with continuous feed paper.
The DX FTIR and the NICOS (NIColet Operating System) software.

Auxiliary Experiment Modules. (Optional)
The Nicolet IR Microscope Experiment Module
This Compact, pre-aligned auxiliary System attaches directly to the side of a 5C series spectrometer bench and provides fast, non-destructive microanalysis with minimal sample preparation and alignment. A keyboard command switches the beam path from routine analyses to specialized experiments on the Microscope Module.
The Auxiliary Sample Bench
This bench connects to the side of the main spectrometer. It allows you to run routine analyses on the main bench and to quickly switch beam paths to the auxiliary sample bench for specialized experiments.
Microbeam
The microbeam sample compartment is designed for the microanalysis of Samples using transmission and/or internal reflectance techniques. The microbeam optics are Computer controlled for rapid sample focusing and configuration to various accessories.
