Superior and consistent quality of Type 2 water - "Superior" because resin beads are not degraded by contact with harsh regeneration chemicals. "Constant" because continuous regeneration avoids the disadvantages of quality changes due to resin exhaustion. Cost and labor savings - The Elix module contains special carbon beads on its cathode and therefore does not require water softening.
