The MP250M is intended for laboratories that want to press many pellets per day.
The pressure is set directly on the 63 mm manometer, which has a 1 ton scale. The permanently mounted rotary knob adjusts an internal red mark at which the motor then stops. Although you can set a minimum pressure of 2 t, we recommend using tools with a diameter of no less than 8 mm. The pressure is reproducible as long as the marking is not misaligned, but not accurate enough for smaller pressing tools. In addition, the after-running of the motor can build up the pressure slightly above the set value, but this is not a problem for larger tools.
Even switched off, the press can hold the pressure for several hours.
Security
The MP250M has two additional safety features compared to the manual presses: an illuminated emergency stop button and a contact switch on the front of the splinter guard that prevents pressing when the cover is open.
service
Operation is extremely simple: simply pressing the green button is enough to start the engine. It stops automatically at the set value of the manometer. A manually operated valve on the side gently releases the pressure to reduce the risk of pellet cracking.
