The device delivers precise negative pressure and offers a wide range of control functions for a wide range of applications in the laboratory. The intuitive user interface on the handheld terminal ensures easy operation; the process parameters can be entered via a touchscreen and a rotary knob. Customization options include: units of measurement, the operating language, the operating mode and parameters such as the target pressure or the suction power of the system directly via the rotary knob. Depending on the operating mode selected, the graphic display of the handheld terminal then shows the respective process variables. The user can intervene in the ongoing process at any time using the handheld terminal and its integrated touchscreen and the rotary knob. The handheld terminal can be located in the vacuum pump system (paging); the handheld terminal responds with a beep. There are four operating modes: Evacuate - The vacuum pump system evacuates a vacuum chamber with adjustable pump output. Pressure control - The vacuum pump system regulates the system pressure to the setpoint (constant pressure). Automatic - The vacuum pump system automatically determines the vapor pressure of the sample and adjusts the process pressure accordingly. Individual pressure function - The vacuum pump system controls the process according to a user-defined pressure curve. The target pressure and the opening and closing of the coolant valve (accessory) on the high-performance condenser can be easily entered for different periods of time. A repeat function enables consecutive repetitions of the programmed pressure curve. Manual process control can be switched to at any time during an active process.
