EB models are incubators with a working temperature range from ambiancy +5 to 80 °C.

Each incubator consists of an exterior steel body and an interior chamber (for wall heating) of aluminium alloy (or stainless steel).

The epoxy coated steel external body is separated from the heating elements with air circulation and an insulating material.

The incubator is heated by flat resistor elements electrically insulated by SAMICANITE plates. They are arranged under the heated enclosure.

The two side surfaces of the interior chamber are fitted with removable racks. They support the shelves or basket shelves depending on the material to be incubated. The bacteriological incubator has a supplementary inner glass door allowing the cultures to be checked without disturbing thermal control.

Thermal principle

The lower left part the incubator incorporates vents for recycling the air between the jacketing of the incubator.

This air is warmed by contact with the resistors, then enters the interior chamber via vents provided in the top of the internal body. The mobile sure temperature uniformity. The principle of heating the products to be incubated is a combination of a radiant and a convection system.

The warm air is expelled through holes located on the top of the heating walls and at the rear.

This system regerenates the air to facilitate the evacuation of vapors generated by the products being incubated.

Regulation element

Temperature control in incubators and oven is ensured by a Go-no-go thermostat.

Operation as described above is displayed by an orange control indicator lamp which is constantly lit initially, then begins to flash as the point of balance is approached.
