Specifications Heated devices. Five heated areas as standard: two detectors, two inlets, one auxiliary port. Stored Methods: Two. Split/splitless capillary. Temperature range up to 400°C in 1°C increments. Back pressure design allows independent adjustment of split flow rate without affecting column flow. Built-in septum rinsing at 3 ml/min. Accepts columns up to an outside diameter of 1.2 mm. Multi-mode design includes split and splitless injection. The splitless rinse time can be changed in 0.01 minute increments. Flame ionization detector. Temperature range up to 450°C. Grounded nozzle and current limiting design for operator safety. Flame ignition at the touch of a button. Sensitivities:. - 18 mCoul/gm Carbon:Nitrogen carrier, 0.018" ID nozzle. - 15 mCoul/gm Carbon:Helium carrier, 0.018" ID nozzle. - 22mCoul/gm Carbon:Nitrogen carrier, 0.018" ID capillary nozzle. - 18 mCoul/gm Carbon:Helium carrier, 0.018" ID capillary nozzle. Minimum detectable: 5 pg carbon/second, nitrogen carrier at S/N=2. Linear dynamic range: +/- 10% over a 10^7 range with 0.018" ID nozzle. -Conditions: Column flow 50 ml/min, 45 ml/min H2, 650 ml/min air, sampling with propane. Flame photometic detector. Temperature range up to 300°C. 100-530 u ID capillary columns fit through the transmission line to the base of the flame. Two combustion modes: air/hydrogen or oxygen/hydrogen. Display the detector signal to check whether the flame is burning. Flame ignition at the touch of a button. Sulfur mode: Sensitivity up to 20 pg S/second, range 10^3, selectivity 10^5 g S/g C. Phosphorus mode: Sensitivity up to 0.9 pg P/second, range 10^4, selectivity 10^6 g P /g C. Column oven. Operating range: 4°C above ambient temperature up to 450°C. Set point entry: 1°C for temperatures, 0.1°C for program rates. Programming: Rates from 0.1 to 70°C per minute, maximum run time of 650 minutes, three ramps with start/end hold times.
