Die Heizflächen der Heizhauben für Glaskolben bis zu 200 Liter Inhalt sind aus anpassungsfähigem Glasgarngewebe gearbeitet, das sich besonders an den Glaskolben anschmiegt.
Mit vier beweglichen Gewindebolzen können die Heizhauben in einem Traggestell oder anderen entsprechenden Vorrichtungen befestigt werden; aufgrund des hohen Gewichts sollte der gefüllte Glaskolben gesondert abgefangen werden.
Jede Heizzone ist mit einem Temperaturfühler NiCr - Ni (K) ausgerüstet. Die maximale Einsatztemperatur beträgt 450 ° C.
