The instrument (Model Z-9000 Simultaneous Multielement Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) incorporates a spectrophotometric unit, controller, display, operating unit, graphic plotter, gas controller, atomizing unit, G. A. power supply and auto sampler.

Fig. 2-1 shows names of each part.

On the rear and sides of the instrument, there are no switches, connectors, knobs, etc. which must be operated.
