Dispatch time

The stated dispatch times are the shortest possible ones for each article. The effective dispatch times can vary. The effective dispatch times will be stated in the order confirmation.

As a matter of principle, we are offering collective deliveries. The shipping time is calculated based on the position with the longest lead time. A partial delivery is possible on explicit request.

Delivery information

Prices exclude shipping costs. Stated shipping costs are to be expected. Deviations are possible. If transport costs are not specified, please ask separately for them.

The stated transport and packing charges apply to the most favorable route if transport and are to be understood as subject to verification due to unexpected cost increases. By reason of unpredictable events, cargo rates and delivery times can change at any time and therefore have to be adapted to the recent situation. Import formalities and possible customs charges will be borne by the purchaser. Incoterm coding according to Incoterms 2010: For persons who collect the devices themselves: EXW, for dipatch by sea: CFR, by air freight: CPT, other shipments: DAP. Note for international shipments: A proof of preference/EUR1 will not be issued by us. When self-collecting/ordering EXW from countries within or outside the European Union, 16% VAT will be retained as a deposit until we have received the corresponding confirmation of arrival/bill of delivery from the buyer.

Terms of payment

We do not accept payment by letter of credit, PayPal, etc. In each case the invoice amount is payable without deduction. Discount is not granted.

The HB-Cycler from Helena BioSciences offers the scientist a high specification thermal cycler at an affordable price. The temperature control of the HB-Cycler is driven using solid-state Peltier devices. These ensure not only powerful ramp rates but also accurate temperature stability and uniformity.

User-friendly software

The control software installed in the HB-cycler is designed to offer user-friendly control and programming, implemented in easy to interpret menus. The control panel comprises a clearly visualised 168 character LCD display, upon which navigation through the program menus is simple due to logical file layering. Together, this allows the operator to quickly select, view and start pre-entered programs. Each program step can be displayed in full so that all parameters can be verified before commencing a program run, and all programs can be protected by PIN codes to prevent unwanted alteration. Incremented and decremented temperatures and times can be included to allow changes in cycle parameters, useful in protocols that utilise dynamic temperature settings.

Peltier temperature control

The temperature control is driven using solid-state Peltier technology giving control and power superior to other methods. The use of high power Peltiers allows temperature ramp rates of up to 4°C per second resulting in faster runs and overall shorter program times. This allows a greater number of runs to be completed in a single day increasing the work capacity of the instrument for laboratories with a high number of samples.

Heated Lid

The heated lid has a flush fitting enclosure to ensure a complete seal eliminating airflow across the block surface. This means that the temperature control is maintained regardless of the environmental conditions. The in-lid surface is spring-mounted to ensure even contact and pressure on all tube lids regardless of the tube height, ensuring no condensation of water vapor on the tube lids.
