The Geiger counter measures beta, gamma, x-ray and neutron radiation wich a muck greater sensitivity than conventional Geiger counters and proben.
Easy to use for both teachers and students: just switch it an and read off the value. Direct quantative display (from 0 to 30µSv/h). Individual pulsen indicated optically and acoustically. Loud warning tone at approx. 50 µSv/h .
An electronic control System ensures that the unit functions reliably in daily use. All elements are designed for maximum shock resistance.

Conventional radiation measuring Instruments use counter tubes, which haue a relatively small counting volume due to their round design. Devices of this type are not suitable for measuring weck radiation.
For this reason, this unit employs a detector technology which is characterized by exceptionally high detection sensitivity: The sandwich proportional counter tube SPZ-03.
The production method applied here permits not only the inexpensive manufacture of large-volume detectors, but also the best possible match to the dimensions of a hand-held device.
