Ultrasound is now an integral part of both pathology and analytical laboratories when it comes to rapid diagnostics and high process efficiency. The SONOCOOL now combines the process-accelerating effect of ultrasound with simultaneous sample cooling.
In the histological examination of samples, for example, in oncology, bone decalcification is an important step, as only decalcified samples can be prepared for later diagnosis without artifacts. This previously lengthy process can now be significantly accelerated using ultrasound compared to conventional methods. At the same time, the morphological structure of the samples is preserved thanks to integrated cooling. This avoids inferior specimens and, consequently, a more difficult or impossible diagnosis. The results are available more quickly.
