GERÄTEBESCHREIBUNG

Die HPLC-Pumpe SDS 9404 ist ein Zweikolben Fördersystem. Sie arbeitet nach dem Prinzip der Kurzhubkolbentechnik mit nur zwei Ventilen. Hierdurch wird die Zuverlässigkeit einer Einkolbenpumpe (Hauptstörquellen bei Pumpen sind bekanntlich die Ventileinheiten) mit der Pulsationsarmut einer Zweikolbenpu mpe kombiniert.

Der Förderkolben arbeitet mit einer Hublänge von 2 mm und der Dämpfungskolben mit 1 mm. Hieraus resultiert ein Fördervolumen von ca. 20 µl je Kolbenhub bei der Verwendung des analytischen Pumpenkopfes. Dieses geringe Fördervolumen pro Kolbenhub, in Verbindung mit einer relativ hohen Hubfrequenz, führt zu einer geringen Restpulsation.

Die beiden Pumpenkolben sind gegenläufig angeordnet. Während der Förderkolben die Flüssigkeit im Pumpenkopf verdrängt, nimmt der im Druckbereich sitzende Dämpfungskolben die Hälfte des Fördervolumens auf. Zur Überbrückung der Ansaugphase des Förderkolbens stößt der Dämpfungskolben das aufgenommene Volumen wieder aus.

Die Drehzahlregelung mittels eines digitalen Drehgebers führt zu einer hohen Gleichlaufkonstanz des Antriebmotors. Die druckabhängige Nichtlinearität

im Förderverhalten wird durch das Einkoppeln des gemessenen Druckes in den Regelkreis weitgehend kompensiert.

Alle Einstellungen für den Durchfluß und die Drucküberwachung werden über Digitalschalter eindeutig und übersichtlich ausgeführt.

Hierdurch wird es möglich, alle Einstellungen auch während des Betriebes beliebig zu verändern.

Durch die externe Steuermöglichkeiten ist die Pumpe einfach in ein Komplettsystem zu integrieren. Die Steuerung kann entweder nur als StartStop-Signal über einen Kurzschlußkontakt unter Einbeziehung der vorgewählten Betriebsparameter erfolgen, oder aber durch ein analoges Gleichspannungssignal von 0 - 10 V zur externen Durchflußkontrolle.
