·          Patented data coded hollow cathode lamps

·          Automatic set-up including wavelength, bandpass and gas flows

  • Minimum component single beam or Stockdale double beam optics
  • Large monochrome or colour VDU presentation
  • High energy, beam profiled background correction
  • Advanced spray chamber/burner system with safety gas control
  • Optional integral flame autosampler
  • Flexible system configuration including multielement analysis
  • Furnace sample preparation system with unique Autoprobe
  • Fully automated continuous flow vapour system

Whether the requirement is for basic, routine atomic absorption analysis or complex fully automated procedures, the PU9200X provides the complete solution.

An AA system designed, manufactured and tested as an integrated unit, it offers the highest standards of reliability and ease of use.

A compact, single footprint houses all that is needed for automatic flame analysis of the highest quality.

With background correction, quad data-coded lamp turret and full gas control system as standard, the principal choices in configuring an instrument to provide the optimum solution to the individual requirement are:

Single beam or Stockdale double beam optics

Routine or extended operating software

Manual or autosampling facilities

Monochrome or full colour VDU presentation

Manual or automatic lamp turret

It takes less than a minute to convert the PU9200X into a high sensitivity furnace system. Full sample and standards preparation facilities are provided and the unique Autoprobe accessory completes a full interference control package. Automated ash-atomise optimisation speeds set-up, while the graphic facilities keep the operator fully informell throughout the analysis.

If sensitivity demand is not quite at furnace levels then consider either STAT or the Continuous Flow Vapour System - both fully automated to provide the very best in performance and productivity.

PU9200X the flexibility to meet your requirement in automated AAS.

The PU9200X flame system has been designed to provide the finest in automation, sensitivity, reliability and precision of any instrument available.

Advanced Atomisation System

The inert fluoroplastic spray chamber with micro-adjustable impact bead, optimised inert nebuliser and flow spoiler is suitable for all gas mixtures and sample types-vital for multi-element operation. The hydrophilic front end of the chamber achieves lowest possible memory effects while tangential fuel gas entry provides maximum efficiency of mixing. An auto sealing drain allows normal operation even if inadvertently not filled.

The laminar flow universal burner supports all flame types. Employing air cooled fins and chamfered jaws, it gives highest sensitivity and solids handling combined with excellent flame stability.

Reliable Gas Control

The full featured safety control system continuously monitors all aspects of gas handling and Flame status. Binary switching flow control produces superb precision and accuracy of gas flows, maintained for the life of the system.

Data Coded Lamp Automation

Pre-aligned single and multi-element data coded HCLs slip into the quad lamp turret and automatically initiate optimum wavelength, bandpass, gas conditions and all desired method parameters. These may be standard 'cookbook" conditions or individual, user-defined methods. Four independent lamp supplies and two parameter stores for each lamp provide eight element capability, which extends to an unrivalled 16 elements with the optional dual disk system.

Perfect Optical System

Minimum component count optics offer a high performance single beam system with the very best in detection limits. Alternatively the unique 'Stockdale" double beam optics provide reference measurements before every signal measurement, but are switched out of the beam entirely during the relatively short measurement period itself. The benefit is double beam stability with single beam signal-tonoise ratio- useful for long automated analyses.

Specified Background Correction

The high energy background correction system is modulated at an optimum 150Hz with little more than 2ms between measurements. Who else can offer correction of up to 2A of background with an error of less than 2%?

Full Facility, Friendly Software

Choice is the key to the PU9200X and this also applies to the operating software. Routine software offers a simple eight page layout for flame and autosampler analyses of a less complex nature.

The optional extended software covers all working modes - flame, furnace and vapour. A single user interface employs soft keys, on-line help information, instant access'cookbook" and, when fitted, disk based User Guides to provide an extremely user-friendly and intuitive environment for the analyst.

Both software options are available in either monochrome or full colour to offer unique flexibility of choice.
