NOTE: The EDTA anticoagulant should be in a dissolved form in the tubes. The tube must be filled so far that the prescribed blood / EDTA ratio is neither exceeded nor undercut. There must be an air volume of approx. 1 cm in the sample tube, otherwise the mixture is incomplete.
